[D-4] AUG 8 – LET’S MEET THE WORLD: Mexico
Mexico is a federal constitutional republic in Central America. It shares boarders with the USA, Belize, and Guatemala. As the fifth largest country in the Americas by total area, the population is nearly over 113 million. The country also has one of the world’s largest economies: Mexico was the first Latin American member of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). The capital city is Mexico City and the official language is Spanish. The country is often affected by the tropical of cancer climate.
Under the theme of “Guide to the wonderful historical chapter of Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza”, the Mexican pavilion passionately represents the Mayan culture in Yeosu Expo. The most popular section in the Pavilion is the Theater Show Area which presents diverse 3D images and videos of Mayan culture, gastronomy, tourism, economy, investment, sustainability and biodiversity in Mexico. Mexico Pavilion is one of the greatest pavilions in the Yeosu Expo and has been greatly loved by a large number of the Expo visitors.
National Day Event : Mexico National Ballet Company
To continue the history of Mexican ballet is the goal of the company. The ballet show that they performed at Yeosu Expo was outstanding and brilliant!
