China Pavilion celebrated “Hainan Province Week Festival”
Hainan is located in very south of China, in the South China Sea. It is also known as “Hawaii of China”, which is second biggest island in the country. Hainan has a tropical moist monsoonal climate which let Hainan to have very mild climate; temperature of summer is about 84°F whereas temperature of winter is only about 61°F.
The opening event took a place at China Pavilion at 10:20 am. It started with greetings and brief introduction of China and Hainan. Followed by greetings, Hainan traditional performances started. There were beautiful dances themed with relationship between ‘people’ and ‘ocean’. After the dance performance, there were also singing and playing Chinese Flutes performances took a place for the rest of the opening event.
