[July 6] Let’s meet the world: Gabon

Gabon, officially the Gabonese Republic, is a sovereign state located on the west coast of Central Africa. This country shares borders with Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, and the Republic of the Congo to the east and north. The capital of Gabon is Libreville, which is the largest city of the country. Gabon is one of the most prosperous countries in Sub-Saharan Africa thanks to its abundant resources and foreign private investment. Gabon has a multi-party system and a new democratic constitution that contributed to build transparent electoral process and to reform governmental institutions.
