The USA Pavilion and the UN Pavilion host a conversation with Philippe Cousteau on the topic “Our Water Planet”. The event will be presented on July 6th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the UN Pavilion’s Conference Room.

Philippe Cousteau, the USA Pavilion Chief-Spokesperson, is a special correspondent for CNN International. He is a grandson of Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau, world-famous ocean explorer, and Philippe himself is an explorer, social entrepreneur and environmental advocate.

Philippe will share his stories on his work, experiences travelling the world and his family legacy. He will also talk about the issue of marine environment, which is related to USA Pavilion’s beach clean-up campaign in the morning of July 6th in Yeosu. There will be Q&A session after Philippe’s talk.

Visitors would want to come early, because seats will be available on a first come, first served basis. Although invitation is not needed to enter, only about 100 people will be allowed to get in this special event.
