[July 3] Let’s meet the world: Mongolia
Mongolia is a parliamentary republic country landlocked in East and Central Asia. This country shares borders with Russia to the north and China to the south, east and west. Mongolia literally means ‘Mongol country’ or ‘Mongol state’. Its capital is Ulan Bator, the largest city with 45 percent of the Mongolian population. This country has been ruled by many nomadic empires including the Mongol Empire established by Genghis Khan. Mongolia, the 19th largest country, is also the most sparsely populated independent country in the world.
