famous Romanian violinist invites visitors to the world of Classical music!

The famous Romanian violinist Alexandru Tomescu, also known as the “magician” of the famous Stradivarius violin, will offer a concert on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 3rd and on the 4th of July, from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm , at Romania’s Pavilion.

The 36 years old Romanian violinist has had concerts all over the world –over 200 concerts in more than 25 countries on all continents, on the most famous stages (in France, Holland, Germany, Austria, England, Russia, Japan, USA, New Zeeland) and, this time, at Expo Yeosu.

On this occasion he will play the “Caprices” of the famous Niccolo Paganini accompanied by a special video montage. (This repertoire was the basis of the 2011 Romanian National Stradivarius Tournament, where Mr. Tomescu performed on one of the most valuable instruments in the world – a genuine Stradivarius violin).
