On this Saturday, June 23rd, 15 Spanish-speaking countries that participate in the Yeosu Expo celebrate Spanish Language Day. They are holding a variety of cultural events, so come and enjoy! Now any of you can become a Spanish speaker having this joyful moment at Yeosu.

The “Spanish Language Day” has been celebrated since 2009 among the Spanish-speaking countries, on the first Saturday at the beginning of summer. Spain, Argentina, Columbia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay hosts the festival this year.

All 15 countries are providing Spanish language classes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at their pavilions. Each of these pavilions invites visitors to Latin dance classes as well. A Spanish song contest at 2 p.m. would be another great entertainment!
