The United Arab Emirates, simply called the UAE, is one of the largest oil reserved country located on southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. It shares boarder with Oman and Saui Arabia, as well as sharing sea borders with Qatar and Iran. The UAE comprises a federation of seven emirates. There are seven emirs of emirates including Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain and single national president. The population of the country is around 4320000 people and approximately forty percents of people live in its capital city of Abu Dhabi.  The general weather of UAE is subtropical-arid with hot summers and warm winters. During the summer time, temperature reaches above 40C (104F). The UAE is also well-known for tourism. The UAE has well-constructed superb facilities that harmonized with natures of UAE; sand, sun, and ocean. Superb facilities including world’s best golf course, great sports and leisure town attract many of foreigners to visit its country. Economically, the UAE already reaches one of the top richest countries in the world. Its capitals of reserved oils lead the UAE to become a richest country. The country has an open economy which annually increases trade surplus.

Today, the UAE Pavilion has set for its National Day in Yeosu Expo 2012.

The UAE Pavilion decided its title for Sea Turtle because the theme of Yeosu Expo 2012: ‘Living Ocean and Coast’ is a notion that resonates deeply within the Emirati mind.

The UAE Pavilion is arranged in to following five key areas.

1. The exterior façade featuring a ‘timeline’ and a special greeting

2. The ‘pre-show’ featuring many interactive presentations, games and documentaries.

3. A ‘sea tunnel’.

4. A themed theatre screening a mini-feature film.

5. The ‘post-show’.
