Italian famous saxophone group, Quartetto di Sassofoni Accademia will meet you in Yeosu!

On 16th of June, at 6:00 pm, Academia Saxophone Quartets will perform at Expo Hall in Yeosu Expo. They will be performing musics such as; Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Il barbiere di Siviglia etc., in order to invite specators to sweet world of saxophone.

Academia Saxophone Quartets was formed in 1984 and they are one of Italian saxophone players, who are globally active. They have held around 900 concerts in Italy and globally. Also, they have held tours 46 times within 24 countries (Canada, Germany, France etc.). They have performed at main concert halls or festivals, such as; Venice Biennale, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Valencia Palau de la Musica, the first European Jazz Festival etc. Also, instrumentalists and musical composers such as; Claude Delangle, Jan Van der Roost, Franco Mannino etc., have collaborated with quartets. Academia Saxophone Quartets performers is a professor in Italian national coservatory of music, in order to educate younger students. Not just in Italy, but they have also taught in master-class in National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, San Francisco, Slovakia etc. Furthermore, they have recorded 10 records at Nuova Era, Dynamic, Edipan, Iktius, BMG-Ariola, Paganmusic, Riverberi Sonori.
